Cold email rules: CAN-SPAM and no cold texts
Cold outreach from the dashboard is email only. Every cold email needs an honest sender and subject, your postal address and a working unsubscribe, and anyone who opts out is never emailed again. Never cold text or robocall.
CAN-SPAM (the US email law) requires:
- An honest sender name and subject line.
- Your physical postal address in every email.
- A clear way to opt out that works. The law gives you 10 business days; we stop emailing them right away.
No cold texts or calls. Texting or auto-dialing someone who didn't agree to it breaks the TCPA, with fines for every message. Start the conversation by email, and text only once they've agreed.
Outside the US. Canada (CASL), the UK and the EU have stricter rules about emailing people without consent. Check them before you email there.
