Set up your email agent

Your email agent has its own address. Forward your contact email to it (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud or any other), and it answers every new inquiry in minutes, in your name, and books the visit.

  1. Open Email agent. Your agent's address is at the top: copy it.
  2. Turn on forwarding in your inbox. The page has step-by-step instructions for Gmail or Google Workspace, Outlook or Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud and everything else. You keep every email in your inbox as usual.
  3. Gmail and Yahoo check a new forwarding address first. Their code or confirmation link shows up at the top of the Email agent page within a minute.
  4. Connect Gmail or Outlook in Integrations so the agent's answers come from your own address, in the same thread. Until then they go out in your business's name, and customers' answers still come back to the agent.

The agent answers people, not machines: receipts, newsletters, auto-replies and no-reply senders are left alone. It knows what's on Business info, books with the same calendar as your voice agent, and hands anything else to you. Open any thread and choose Take over to write yourself. Your reply goes in the same thread, from your connected Gmail or Outlook, or otherwise from our address in your business's name (up to 15 a day that way; connect Gmail or Outlook in Integrations to send more), and their answer comes back to the thread.

Rather not forward everything? Put the agent's address on your website's contact form, your Google Business Profile or your ad lead forms instead.
