API keys and connecting Claude or Codex (MCP)

Make an API key in Integrations, then API keys. Then connect Claude or Codex over MCP, from Integrations, then Connect an AI, and ask about your clients, leads and replies. The REST API and webhooks use the same keys.

API keys. In Integrations, open API keys and make a key. A key is read only, or read and write: write keys can add and move prospects and run lead searches, which spend credits. You see a key once, when you make it, so copy it then. Revoke a key any time, and it stops working on the next request.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how AI assistants connect to apps. Connect Claude or Codex to your agency and ask things like "which clients are at risk?" or "add this business to my pipeline".

  1. In Integrations, open Connect an AI.
  2. Pick your AI tool. You get its steps with your key already filled in.
  3. Ask your AI about your agency. It only sees what your key allows.

The developer docs cover the REST API, webhooks (to Zapier, Make or your own server) and rate limits. Treat keys like passwords: anyone with one can use your account.
