Buy or connect a domain
In Website, search for a domain and buy it with no DNS to touch, or connect one you already own by adding three DNS records at your registrar and choosing Check connection.
Buy one. In Website, search for a name, then choose Buy. The price shows before you pay: about twice what the registrar charges us, ending in .99. .ai domains are sold two years at a time. There's no DNS to touch.
Connect one you own. Choose Already own a domain? Connect it, then:
- Log in to your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace and so on).
- Find the DNS settings.
- Add the three records we show you: a CNAME for www, an A record for @, and a TXT record for _verify.
- Come back and choose Check connection.
DNS changes can take up to an hour, sometimes longer.
